Covariant formulation of spin optics for electromagnetic waves

چکیده
We develop geometric optics expansion up to the subleading order for circularly polarized electromagnetic waves on curved spacetime. This expansion, in which conventional eikonal function is modified by inserting a carefully chosen helicity-dependent correction, called spin optics. derive propagation and polarization equations approximation as travel Polarization-dependent deviation of light ray trajectory from geodesic, describing gravitational Hall effect, observed. also establish an analogy with related phenomena (optical Magnus effect) condensed matter physics.
